MnUSA 2012 Scholarship Winners
MnUSA Awards Six Scholarships

Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2012 scholarships.  The MnUSA Scholarship Program was established to assist members and children of members in pursuing post-secondary education in college and vocational programs.

Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee on the basis of their essay “How would you develop and promote a youth snowmobile organization from your county to the state level for youth ages 14 to 21?", academic achievement, leadership, participation in school and community activities, work experience, and an outside appraisal. Applicants must be a MnUSA member in good standing for the past three years (if under 18 years of age this will include membership as a son, daughter or legal ward of a family having a current membership in MnUSA).

Funds for the scholarship program are provided through donations and by the Fund Raising Committee, through sources such as MnUSA’s calendar sales. We are also proud to announce that the scholarship program will be continued in 2013.  Details of
the 2013 program will be announced after the first of the year with applications due by March 31, 3013.
